A BOOST FOR YOUR CAREER

Legal Clerkships

Our Legal Clerkship program is designed for you to make meaningful contributions to the study and research of space law. You do not need to be a law student to apply, but you should have a strong interest in space. Candidates with a background in space law, space policy, public or private international law, comparative law, research methodologies, space history, sociology, and/or media production are preferred. All nationalities are welcome, though a strong proficiency in English and a familiarity with academic writing and research methodologies is required. Clerks will assist with a variety of projects in the Space Court Law Library project. Research could be for credit provided we have an agreement with your academic institution. Individuals with multiple language proficiency are strongly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with Google products including GSuite are preferable.

The clerkship is for one year and is a part-time time commitment (usually between 5-10 hours a week, but could include more time commitment depending on the project). Additional projects and hours can be assigned to students who are seeking credit from their academic institutions (e.g. for an externship requirement). Applications are received on a rolling basis throughout the year.
